Drinking grapefruit juice while being treated with diazepam may result in large amounts of diazepam in your blood which may cause more side effects of diazepam than usual. Using diazepam and drinking grapefruit juice is not recommended. It is important to tell your doctor and pharmacist about all other medicines that you are using. If you are already using diazepam and drinking grapefruit juice, call your doctor if you have changes in mental awareness, have loss of balance, or have slurred speech.
