Diflucan (Fluconazole)

Diflucan is used for preventing and treating fungal and certain yeast infections. For other conditions the medicine is directed by your doctor.

Diflucan is used only on doctor’s orders. For exact dosing instructions you must check the docket on the Diflucan.

The medicin take by mouth without or with food.

Take the medicine at least 2 hours before proton pump inhibitors (eg, omeprazole).

You to heal up your infection in full when you are take the Grifulvin V for the full course of treatment. Even if in a few days you are feeling better, continue the course. Do not miss any doses.

The medicine works best if you have taken it the same time each day.

Diflucan is an azole antifungal. The medicine is kills sensitive fungi by interfering with the formation of the fungal cell membrane.

Take Diflucan as soon as possible, if you ignore a dose of medicine. You must go back to your regular dosing shedule even if it is almost time for next dose. Remember no way do not take 2 dose at once.

Do not freeze and store in the bathroom. Store the US product below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Store the Canadian product at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C). Store the Diflucan away from moisture and light. Medicine keeps further away from pets and children.

If you are allergic to any component in Diflucan or you are taking astemizole, cisapride, an aldosterone blocker (eg, eplerenone), erythromycin), an ergot alkaloid (eg, ergotamine, a serotonin (5-HT1) receptor agonist (eg, eletriptan), pimozide, or terfenadine do NOT use Diflucan.

Some components of the Diflucan may interact with others medical conditions. If you have any other apply of the following tell about your doctor:

You are planning to become pregnant; you are pregnant or are breast-feeding

You are taking any nonprescription and prescription medicine, dietary supplement or herbal preparation

You are having allergies to foods, medicines or other substances

You have kidney or liver disease, a weakened immune system, or an irregular heartbeat

You are allergic to other azole antifungals (eg, itraconazole)

Some components of the Diflucan may interact with others medical conditions. If you are taking any other medicines of the following tell about your doctor:

Aldosterone blockers (eg, eplerenone), astemizole, amiodarone, pimozide, cisapride, serotonin receptor agonists (eg, eletriptan), quinolines (eg, ciprofloxacin), macrolide antibiotics (eg, erythromycin), or terfenadine because the risk of severe irregular heartbeat (eg, QT prolongation) may be increased

Rifabutin because may be increased the risk of certain eye problems (eg, uveitis)

Macrolide immunosuppressants (eg, tacrolimus) because may be increased the risk of kidney problems

Rifampin or proton pump inhibitors (eg, omeprazole) because they may decrease Diflucan’s effectiveness

Anticoagulants (eg, warfarin), buspirone, benzodiazepines (eg, alprazolam), carbamazepine cyclosporine, , cyclophosphamide, ergot alkaloids (eg, ergotamine ), HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors or “statins” (eg, simvastatin), haloperidol, hydantoins (eg, phenytoin), muscarinic antagonists (eg, solifenacin, tolterodine) , methadone, narcotics (eg, codeine), sulfonylureas (eg, glipizide) , ramelteon, tricyclic antidepressants (eg, amitriptyline), or theophylline because the risk of their side effects may be increased by Diflucan.

Many people have minor or no side effects in spite of all medicines account for side effects. If any of follow effects are persist or become bothersome tell your doctor:

Changes in taste; stomach pain; dizziness; nausea; headache.

Take care if any of these severe side effects to turn up:

Severe allergic reactions (itching; hives; rash; tightness in the chest; difficulty breathing; swelling of the lips, face, mouth, or tongue); diarrhea; yellowing of the skin or eyes; swollen or tender abdomen; vomiting; scaly, red skin over a large portion of the body.

Betnovate

Betnovate (or Betamethasone valerate) belongs to a group of corticosteroids. It is a cream for external application and is placed in aluminum tubes of 20g. It is also made in the form of ointment placed in a tube of 100g, and nasal and eye drops in a tube of 100ml. Betamethasone is its active ingredient.

Betnovate is very effective in treatment of different skin diseases. It cures inflammatory dermatoses, neurodermatoses, seborrhoeic dermatitis. It is helpful against eczema both in adults and children, including discoid and atopic eczemas, psoriasis, prurigo nodularis. It heales contact sensitivity reactions.

Betnovate may be used along with systemic steroid therapy as an adjunct. It should be applied as directed by your doctor. It’s usually used 2-3 times a day, and when the results appear – 1 time a day. Children apply it one time a day. Betnovate should not be used on large body areas for a long time (which means for weeks or months) or in larger amounts than prescribed.

 

Antifungal Antibacterial Cream

Antiseptic Cream is an antifungal and antibacterial cream from Himalaya company. It is placed in a tube of 25g.

It contains such ingredients as Aloe vera, Vitex negundo, Tankana, Yashad bhasma, Rubia cordifolia and Prunus amygdalus. The cream is good to use for treatment of burns, wounds, cuts, sores, rashes, fungal skin infections. Aloe vera accelerates regeneration of skin, kills bacteria. Oil extract of Vitex negundo reduces inflammation and fights against infection. Tankana has antiseptic and astringent properties.  Yashad bhasma accelerates healing of wounds. Rubia cordifolia has antibacterial, astringent and antiallergic action. Prunus amygdalus helps in case of skin eruptions and irritable sores as it has astringent effect.

It is recommended to apply the cream 2-3 times a day to the affected area. Antiseptic Cream is natural herbal medicine so it brings no harm to your organism.
